Cure for Poverty

The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold;
therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing. (Proverbs 20:4)

Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty;
open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread. (Proverbs 20:13)

The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness;
but of every one that is hasty only to want. (Proverbs 21:5)

He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man:
he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich. (Proverbs 21:17)

The desire of the slothful killeth him;
for his hands refuse to labour.
He coveteth greedily all the day long:
but the righteous giveth and spareth not. (Proverbs 21:25-26)

By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. (Proverbs 22:4)

The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7)

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed;
for he giveth of his bread to the poor. (Proverbs 22:9)
