What is eternal life? Some people don't want to live forever, but who would want to leave a friend? Jesus has told us we are friends if we love his teachings and believe on Him. Jesus is also Lord and for Him a day is as 1000 years and 1000 years is as a day.

"The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him." (John 3:36)

"You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father." (John 15:14-15)

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ." (Acts 2:36)

"Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day." (2 Peter 3:8)
